Social Justice Forums:
From Rhetoric to Action
Beginning this fall, Students for Social Justice are organizing one day Social Justice Forums on university campuses.
These forums are designed to attract students who are already active in progressive movements as well as those who are beginning to question mainstream ideas or are simply interested in a discussion of topical issues.
They will offer an alternative to conservative student dialogues organized by the Fraser Institute or other right wing groups.
Students will hear from progressive academics and advocates, writers and politicians.
They will have the opportunity to learn, discuss, strategize, and to connect their academic work with struggles for social justice.
