 Mission/Vision
WE envision making our young men and women agents of transformation. In response to the situation of the young, One Stop Youth Information Resource Centre empowers the youthful generation to have ownership of the development process and be agents of transformation in the city.
Our vision includes facilitating the empowerment of the youth in the city to have greater ownership of the development process through disseminating relevant information, imparting appropriate skills and formation of the Junior Council, so that the competence and professional qualification achieved, may be placed at the service of the young, thus contributing to the development of the city of Nairobi and assist in prevention or alleviation of unemployment problem.
The youthful generation need to acquire the relevant skills to help them take decisions and actions that give them more control of their own lives and thus enable them participate actively in the boarder development process.
It is hoped that other actors, including Government Ministries, International Agencies, Civil Societies and the Private Sector will play a critical role in fully developing the One Stop Youth Centre and its Management Framework.
What does the organization do?
The One Stop Youth Centre is a project that brings together a multitude of activities for youth development initiated by the UN HABITAT and the City Council of Nairobi. The One Stop Youth Centre works in collaboration with the City Council of Nairobi with over thirty youth focused and driven organizations. The areas of thematic engagement for young people that are offered by the centre include: Employment and Entrepreneurship, Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS including counselling, Governance and Advocacy, Drugs and Substance Abuse and Information Communication Technologies.

The One Stop Youth Centre is a youth driven and focused organization. It offers many opportunites for young people within Nairobi.
