 Mission/Vision
Picture the happy, effective and contributing global citizens of tomorrow. Being lifelong learners and digitally fluent, they participate fully in every aspect of social and economic life.
To make this picture a reality, today's students must learn differently. They must be granted an education that fosters their innate motivation to learn, that encourages academic rigor through relevant application, and that connects them with the world they will enter. This approach is often called "anytime anywhere learning."
What does the organization do?
The Anytime Anywhere Learning Foundation (AALF) mission is to serve as an advocacy vehicle for anytime, anywhere learning globally. To accomplish this task, AALF believes students must be provided with a constructivist, international education where meaningful tasks subsume curriculum objectives and a portable computer with which to ponder, construct, and share ideas. AALF’s foundation rests on two pillars: educational leadership and global equity. To these ends, AALF is determined to assist in leadership development with educators and administrators, while also relentlessly pursuing equal, global access to the tools and conditions necessary for continued development of anytime, anywhere learning.
Opportunities for Youth
As we start up, our focus is on youth education, but as of yet, opportunities for youth involvement have not been developed. However, we want to hear from youth involved in anytime, anywhere learning programs. If your school uses laptops in innovate ways creating learning opportunities, let us know! We want to know "anywhere" anytime, anywhere learning happens at "anytime."
