PREAMBLE:

We, the youth of Dominica have seen the need to unite and be organized in order to provide a strong voice for the futherance and protection of the interests and rights of youth. We hereby declare the National Youth Council of Dominica a reality as a firm commitment to the development of our nation by developing the full potential of youth. We salute the efforts for the improvement of the lives of youth.

We insist that the Young people of Dominica be involved in the decision making and implementation process in our nation at all levels. We will vigorously maintain our policy of an indepdent National Youth Council free from partisan influence and capable of making independent decisions in the interest of all Youth
