MOVEMENT AGAINST DRUG ABUSE
(AIMS & OBJECTIVE)
The most critical/chronic issue, with which the world is confronted, is the curse of narcotics. Unfortunately the situation becomes graver due to involvement of the criminals in drug business. Especially the youth is directly hit by this curse ultimately. The social decline starts because it produces handicapped manpower & thus the positive contribution towards the growth of society is stopped. To coup with this unpleasant situation "MADA” Okara was established, in Pakistan in June 1999, with adaptation of the following aims and objectives.
1. To mobilized the youth against the drug Abuse, further to aware the public through holding conferences, seminars, symposiums, walks & course meetings.
2. To train the workers to meet the effected persons to convince them to come back to the real world to shoulders their due responsibilities.
3. To establish industrial/mini industrial Looms to protect the living & too boost the economy of the affected families.
4. to established educational institutes where preference in admission will be given to the children of the addicts, poor, needy.
5. To work against pollution & to solve the social problems of the community.
6. Arrange the tournament for the healthy competition of youth.
7. To establish home industrial looms for the welfare of women.
The organization has been striving for the materialization of the adopted aims and objectives, since its establishment. It has successfully opened the office in okara.
