 Mission/Vision
PLYC ‘s Vision is a society in which people lives with peace and they have equal rights without classification of Gender, race, colour, religion, political, and socially where they have equal access to the resources.
PLYC ‘s Mission is to protect and improve health status of target communities, to empower the women, to develop human resources, to develop awareness among communities by adopting participatory approach according to the culture, custom and current needs of existing communities.
What does the organization do?
Pakistan Lions Youth Council (PLYC) is one of the active non-governmental organizations of Punjab-Pakistan based at Khanewal and working in southern Punjab founded in Feb. 1985, the organization is registered with Volunteer Social Welfare Agencies, Registration & Control Ordinance, 1961 under registration number DDSW (MD)/179. Besides having registration with social welfare debt, PLYC is further enrolled with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Women Development, Social welfare (Government of Pakistan), UNICEF and Department of Public Information (DPI) / NGO section United Nations, New York, USA. PLYC engaged in the following area:

Opportunities for Youth
Adolescents Reproductive Health Awareness Program:
PLYC believes that our future is depends on our adolescents because they will become parents, leaders, policy makers, politicians and to lead the nation tomorrow. However, unfortunately adolescents have not proper knowledge in context of reproductive health due to lack of opportunities, they are facing vulnerability as well as high risk of HIV/AIDS. PLYC started ARH program in 2000, which has been developing awareness among adolescent and exploding myths and misconceptions regarding reproductive heath .Our outreach field team visits target communities, schools, and conduct session with adolescent. Under the ARHARP, We have trained 52 CBOs/NGOs, 104 Master Trainers, 450 Peer Educators and 300 Service Providers till now.
Youth Development Program
Youth development program has been executing at Multan district by the support of UNICEF, in which program our Field Team identify schools, select Peerv Educators and form youth groups as well as awareness raising regarding HIV/AIDS, capacity building and life skills has been enhancing among youth groups.
Life Skills Program
PLYC launched Life Skills program among Adolescents in Schools with collaboration of Education department by the support of WPF. Life skills program is very exclusive program that is implementing in Multan, under this program need assessment process are stated, in which focus group discussions will be conducted after that program will be addressed to adolescents regarding Life Skills.
