Mission/Vision
CUSO’s aim is to bring the expertise of those in the global South and Canada together—through volunteer placements, mutual collaboration, training, programming, exchanges, and resource sharing—so both can continue to enhance and grow vital social justice programs for the long-term.
What does the organization do?
All over the world, community organizations are doing extraordinary work to address poverty, human rights and governance issues, HIV/AIDS, inequity, cultural loss, environmental degradation and natural resource depletion. CUSO finds outstanding organizations working in the global South who are making real and lasting changes in their own communities…and partners with them.
Opportunities for Youth
CUSO offers the opportunity to volunteer both overseas and in Canada. Volunteers who join CUSO take action against HIV/AIDS, human rights abuses, poverty, inequity, cultural loss and many other issues. View CUSO's website for more information on volunteering opportunities.
