Our primary focus is to promote Darfur activism at the grassroots level by reaching out and providing advocacy resources to community, faith-based and human rights groups and their memberships. Our secondary foci includes raising public awareness about the Darfur crisis, direct lobbying of Canadian decision-makers, advising government agencies on policy in Sudan and working with the international 'Globe for Darfur' committee.

We currently have more than 50 member organizations, including Amnesty International (Anglophone and Francophone sections), Human Rights Watch (Toronto Network), the Darfur Association of Canada, KAIROS Ecumenical Justice Initiatives, the Canadian Jewish Congress, the Muslim Canadian Congress, STAND Canada, CSFDarfur, SHOUT Canada, CASTS, Project Equity and Never Again International.

We are also active members of the Globe for Darfur coalition, which coordinates Global Days for Darfur in more than 50 countries.
