We envision a united youth as responsive, accountable, productive and proactive catalysts of change in
the society who are in harmony with each other, and with the rest of the community and the world.
The youth, enriched by a global outlook and driven by local action, are prudent beneficiaries of the fruits of the toils, and humble heirs of the wisdom and wealth of experiences of those ahead of him.
The Youth therefore are RAPPERS - Responsive, Accountable, Proactive, Patriotic, Empowered/Excellence-oriented, Resilient and Socially Responsible.”

UNYAP is the youth arm of the United Nations Association of the Philippines. It is a movement of various youth groups committed to promoting UNAP mission among the youth. The primary activity of
UNYAP is the convening of the International Youth Day Celebration / Conference, and is involved
in promoting the 10-point world program of action for the youth, and actively pursues youth involvement
in the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
The UNYAP Youth Sector of the Visayas was organized first in Silliman University to spearhead the action towards battling the war on Poverty through IEC (information, education, communication) and community based projects. The members of UNYAP in Silliman University are all experienced Youth
servant leaders who aims to STAND UP for the attainment of the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals or MDG’s.

A. Batausa, and Socials Chair: Michael Jason B. Musong.
UNYAP Visayas is coordinated by the currently nominated National Vice President, Bertch Ian N. Ranis,
who is also a graduate of Silliman University. The Youth Sector of the Visayas comes up with a vision to
spread the MDG’s in all 6 Major Islands, 16 Active Provinces, 36 Beautiful cities, and 371 Promising
Municipalities.
