 Mission/Vision
To be the credible, caring and authoritative voice of responsible children's advertising and communications in Canada, working in partnership with government, educators, parents and issue experts to identify and address issues of concern in children's lives.
What does the organization do?
Concerned Children's Advertisers has been producing and delivering social messaging campaigns on issues of challenge in children's lives, including: drug abuse prevention, child abuse prevention, child safety, self-esteem, media literacy, healthy active living and bullying prevention. Our campaigns include nationally televised Public Service Announcements and curricula for children in kindergarten to grade eight, as well as tips and tools for parents and community workers. When presented with informative messages, we believe that children are capable of making informed and balanced life choices.
Opportunities for Youth
The LONG LIVE KIDS campaign is an initiative of the Children’s Healthy Active Living Program (CHALP). This one-of-a-kind Canadian collaboration brings together industry, issue experts and government to provide Canadian children with tools for healthy eating, active living and improved media literacy in order to support a balanced lifestyle and achieve optimal health and development.
