Mission/Vision
Working for a world which respects and values each child, a world which listens to children and learns, a world where all children have hoep and oportunities. our three key areas guiding out initiatives are: maintaing high quality, innovative and distinct programmes adressing the needs of children in Swaziland; spearheading the creation of a child rights culture in Swaziland; developing a strong and sustainable resource base to scale up and scale out programes.
What does the organization do?
We use the Child Rights Programming approach to ensure childrens rights are realized by lobbying for, advocating for and providing their social, physical, pschosocial and other needs. Our programs are mainly divided to three categories which are: advocating towards child friendly policies and laws aimed at creating an environment where all children are afforded their rights to protection from all forms of abuse; strengthening community protection mechanism from the HIV/AIDS pandemic; intervening to relive hunger and sustain livelihoods by ensuring communities have access to basic services.
Opportunities for Youth
They have opportunities of enhancing their leadership skills and development as they exercise their right to participation in all appropriate Save the Children Programming. Young peopl eparticipate in program design up to implementation. They become aware of and understand their rights, they are exposed to fora where policy makers are engaged on laws that affexct them etc.
