At Facing the Future, we believe in the transformative power of widespread, systemic education to improve lives and communities, both locally and globally. Our positive, solutions-based programming is designed by and for teachers, and effectively brings critical thinking about global issues to students in every walk of life. We work within the education system to help teachers help students achieve academic success, while preparing them to create and maintain positive, healthy and sustainability communities.

Facing the Future is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and motivating today’s students to be responsible stewards of tomorrow’s world. We develop and deliver standards-based hands-on lessons, student textbooks, curriculum units, and professional development opportunities for educators that promote critical thinking on global issues, sustainability and positive solutions. Facing the Future curriculum is in used in all 50 U.S. states and over 50 countries by teachers and students in grades K-12, in undergraduate and graduate classes, and across multiple subject areas.
