Rakan Muda Team Malaysia is a innovative youth-driven program, introduced to Malaysia in October of 1998, that is dedicated to educating young Malaysians about the world of international business and trade. This international training program accomplishes its objectives by conducting training centres and by leading a mission to one of Malaysia's trading partners, in particular Canada. Rakan Muda Team Malaysia was founded by a not-for-profit Canadian organization called Global Vision. Global Vision was established in 1991 by a group of business, government and education leaders to prepare young Canadians for careers in the changing global marketplace.

The purpose of this program is to help Malaysian youth develop the necessary life skills required to succeed in the world of international business, to learn about potential careers in this field and to pursue business opportunities for Malaysian companies.
