"Legacy is a place where new ideas, creativity, and potentiality can come forth. We try to create a model which fosters a world based on cooperation, understanding, and mutual respect; a world where all individuals are free to live according to their deepest beliefs, sustaining their traditions and cultural identity while at the same time meeting together on a transcultural level. We are one diverse humanity, with common interests and needs. These commonalities can form a basis for mutual understanding."
What does the organization do?
Since 1979, Legacy's Global Youth Village has dramatically influenced the lives of young people in more than 95 different countries. Activities evoke creativity, dialogue, cross-cultural competency, and flexibility. Each day is a dynamic blend of workshops and recreational activities.
